Yeah, that OP made me want to weep for humanity. Way to miss the boat on the past 50 odd years of Humanities scholarship. By their logic I guess we should just shut down all English, Cultural Studies, Media Studies, etc… departments. Maybe I should start listing that I have BA in “disrespecting texts” from now. Actually, that would be pretty badass.
